I write this in hopes of you seeing the Bigger Picture and not just the Number’s Picture . A huge
challenge , and an understandable one . But as we all can quite clearly see , Maybe the numbers are not
always the correct way to go . My prime example here is ” My Name Is Earl ” , Removed because Mr. Zucker
said , and i quote ” The fans didn’t put up a big enough ” Save Earl ” Write is so there it was removed . Did
you not once stop think that you may have , just a tad , led them along as that there would be a next season ?
And did you once think that these are not the richest people on the planet and had counted on a next season to
help pay their bills ? NO ! I take it you did not .
Let me explain my modest little story that shows why i hold ” Earl ” so near and dear to my heart .
I used to be alot like Earl , aka Greg Garcia’s Step Father , And had given up that life was taking me nowhere .
But yet , i had no direction to go into . Then i saw ” Earl ” . And that changed my life ,and did it ever occure to
you that the reason that a bigger writing campain had not comforth because of people like me , trying to make this
world a better place to live . One good deed at a time . And DID NOT realize that a 2 part “Earl” would be ditched when
you keep trash like the stolen idea ” The Office ” from a brittish show . Which sucked there and sucks here too. Or the
UN-outstanding ” Parks and Recreation “. Minding you all that they were KEPT !
You took a show with unbelievable heart , emotion and laughs and reduced it to no more than trash in a waste
paper basket . “Earl ” had the writing , the acting , the real life people lots of us really know and most of all you took the
truth that was given that most folks need to help them learn a tiny bit more about themselfs in their own lives to grow as humans .
Not less than humans , not homeless people or any of the other numerous names that the ” hollywood ” folks give us and throw us
a ” Cause Dinner ” when it doesn’t interfer with your Glamor shoots or from hopping from one bed to another . I , in no way mean to be harsh on you , you have the right to bed hop with whom ever you wish . Not my business , not at all .
What is my business is that you take off a show that ALOT to alot of people . A show that touches our hearts and show us that there’s a better way of life . A show that personally gives me hope . A show that showed me a way that in a time i had no way but learned that if i hit a $20 dollar lottery ticket , Instead of keeping it all for myself , Give $10 to someone who needs food more than I do . A show that taught me how to ask for forgiveness for all the things in my past that i had done that needed at least an attempt
at forgiveness . A show that shows that hate breeds hate and love breeds love . That facing your fears may be terrifying , but , most
times , well , well worth it . When you look back at other shows that lasted 10 years or more , can you say that ANY of these do
that ……HELL NO !!!!! Seinfeld gave us masterbation . Cheers gave us ,,, well ,,, i got nothing . Mash gave us 3-4 seasons too long.
But Earl , has given from day one , tollerance toward gays, and that’s just the first episode . Every single episode gave us a lesson to learn . All with comedy and heart .
Without Earl and the Wonderful Cast , Theres no telling where id be right now at this moment . But with Earl , i can tell where im
at in life …. Im a Productive human being . Im not the loser i was running face first into . From the first show , to the last show ,
you know the one zucker , the one that was suppose to be a two parter .. Remember that one ? The one you cheated us all out of ? The Writers , The Actors , The Fans , The Construction workers on the sets and the location scouts . All those folks who have no job now .. OH wait , You forgot about all those guy’s and girls didn’t you . 10 years ago , i was just like you . No one mattered but me .
But because of the cast and crew of Earl , im no longer that Narcissistic , all for me , none for anyone else person i used to be. Who knows , maybe that’s why the show is gone . Sometimes its hard to look in the mirror ain’t it Zucker and the rest of the so-called NBC BIG WIGS .
The last thing about me is im not the same knowing Earl wont be back to show me what-ever Greg Garcia And Jason LEE won’t have the chance to help more people like me . And i personally think thats what Greg Garcia set out to do when he came up with thus show about his stepfather . Thank you Mr. Garcia .

The clip is great shows the real possibilities of censorship. Having been in Third World Countries where it is taken to the extreme is a terribly disheartening experience. An ad is the extreme version of protest and protests can be as small as a hairstyle or a sit down demonstration.
I have seen the hairstyle get a man a crude haircut in one Asian country. He was working in the sewer with a shovel, menial work but honest. A policeman showed up with rusty scissors and a crowd to watch this barbaric public demonstration. The man was ordered out of the trench and to stand while the policeman cut his hair with those dull, rusty scissors. The mans haircut was his silent protest against the Govt. of his particular Dictator. He lost, hair and some cash since the Policeman fined him as well.
Fortunately for us we had ancestors who gave us the freedoms we hold so dear that give us the right to protest. Whether or not it is the message we want to hear we must be proud of the fact that we too can send a message that will be appreciated by some but not by all and that we have that freedom.
I have seen a state run television that only showed praises for the Dictator in charge and the variety of programs that are offered in my home country the USA, the one that allows most anything morally and ethically sound and everything that is unethical and immoral. We just have to ask ourselves what we want our children to watch and then think about what is available to them. Parents will shudder thinking a little here but it is written in the fabric of our Nation.
Dude, I loved you in MNIE, I’m a life long fan now, but not the crazy “can I have a pubic hair kind”. If you start sending out pubes,….man I’m outta here. Stay awesome!
